VXT tracks the time you spend on calls and meetings and creates the time entry for you, saved against the right matter in your legal software.

Give clients your full attention

When Zoom is the better choice

Zoom Phone puts calls alongside the meetings your firm already runs. If that matters more than what happens after the call, it'll serve you better than VXT.

Your firm already runs on Zoom and wants calls and meetings in one place.

Your firm needs HIPAA or SOC 2. VXT has neither.

You want AI summaries included at no extra cost.

When VXT is the better choice

VXT is a phone system built for law firms. If that's your firm, it'll do what Zoom can't.

You need a file note and a time entry on the matter after every call.

You want the summary saved to the matter, not left in Zoom.

You run on Clio, Actionstep, LEAP, Smokeball or iManage.

Choosing the best option for your team

Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
Yes. VXT supports number porting, so you can bring your existing numbers with you. How long it takes depends on the country your numbers are registered in.
What is VoIP?

Unlike traditional systems that rely on physical phone lines, VoIP uses the internet to make calls. This means VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) offers more features, scalability, and cost savings. It’s also easier to set up and maintain compared to legacy systems.

What is VXT?
VXT is a phone system built for law firms. It records and transcribes calls, writes a summary, creates a time entry, and saves both to the right matter in your legal software — Clio, Actionstep, LEAP, Smokeball, Filevine, NetDocuments, iManage and more. It also drafts the follow-up email for you to send.
Which phone system is right for my team?
VXT is built for law firms. Call notes and time entries save to the matter in your legal software. Zoom Phone puts calling next to the meetings you already run on Zoom. Its AI summaries are included, and it holds the security certifications VXT does not.
Does Zoom Phone integrate with my legal software?
There is no legal software in Zoom's app marketplace. Clio and Smokeball have built their own Zoom integrations, but Clio's only adds a meeting link to a calendar entry. Everything else runs through Zapier or a paid third-party connector, and none of it creates a time entry.
Which is better for a small law firm?
Zoom is cheaper and its AI is included, so if a firm only wants a good summary it is hard to beat. The summary lands in Zoom, though. VXT writes the file note and the time entry into the matter, which is where the billable time comes back.

Practice law, not paperwork

VXT works on the device you're using. It’s free to get started.
