When CloudCall is the better choice

CloudCall is built for recruitment agencies. If that's your organisation, it'll serve you better than VXT.

You run recruitment on Bullhorn, Vincere or JobDiva.

You keep your records in a recruitment CRM, not legal software.

You make outbound calls in volume and need a power dialer.

When VXT is the better choice

VXT is a phone system built for law firms. If that's your firm, it'll do what CloudCall can't.

You need a file note and a time entry on the matter after every call.

You want the client's file on screen before you answer.

You need call recordings kept for longer than a year.

Choosing the best option for your team

Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
Yes. VXT supports number porting, so you can bring your existing numbers with you. How long it takes depends on the country your numbers are registered in.
What is VoIP?

Unlike traditional systems that rely on physical phone lines, VoIP uses the internet to make calls. This means VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) offers more features, scalability, and cost savings. It’s also easier to set up and maintain compared to legacy systems.

What is VXT?
VXT is a phone system built for law firms. It records and transcribes calls, writes a summary, creates a time entry, and saves both to the right matter in your legal software — Clio, Actionstep, LEAP, Smokeball, Filevine, NetDocuments, iManage and more. It also drafts the follow-up email for you to send.
Which phone system is right for my team?
VXT is built for law firms. Call notes and time entries save to the matter in your legal software. CloudCall is built for recruitment agencies. It integrates with Bullhorn, Vincere and JobDiva, and its Advanced plan includes a power dialer for high-volume outbound calling.
Does CloudCall integrate with Clio or Actionstep?
No. CloudCall integrates with nine recruitment and sales CRMs, including Bullhorn, Vincere, JobDiva, Tracker, Salesforce and HubSpot. There is no legal software in its directory, and searching the Clio App Directory for CloudCall returns no results. To get a call note into a matter, someone at the firm copies it across.
Which is better for a small law firm?
VXT. There is no seat minimum, so a two-person firm can use it, and the notes and time entries land in your legal software. CloudCall starts at five seats, and seat reductions are only possible at renewal.

Practice law, not paperwork

VXT works on the device you're using. It’s free to get started.
