We are super stoked to announce that we filled our marketing and software development positions a lot earlier than expected!

Our team has been working hard to release one of our largest updates yet (Over 7000 lines of code 😲)!! We've significantly improved the performance of the inbox and message screens. This means you should notice Vxt running WAY faster especially if you have a lot of messages.

Our team values your feedback heaps and we use it to help us focus on the things that matter most so that we can build the best service possible. In this update, we have made it easier for you to share your thoughts with us.

We've released some really valuable new features. Contact-based greetings allow you to play custom greetings for different contacts. You can save one for Mum, a top client, or anyone else. Simply press the contact icon on one of your saved greetings and assign as many contacts as you like to that greeting.

Lucy is one of the co-founders of Vxt and has led the technical side of the business since November 2018. The original idea for Vxt was to build a simple visual voicemail app which included speech to text, an idea that has since changed.

It's been a whirlwind few days since the launch of our beta programme. It has been awesome to hear from those of you already using the app.

On Monday 27th July we quietly made Vxt available in the United States. In less than a week it has steadily grown to account for approximately 20% of daily new installs. This is wholly organic growth, we're not advertising in the US.

The team behind Vxt were ecstatic to be announced as a finalist in the competition.

This week Vxt entered into a funding agreement with Callaghan Innovation as a part of Callaghan's Research & Development funding programme. Callaghan's Getting Started Grants cover 40% of your research and development project costs up to a limit of $5,000.
