What you’ll be working on

As the first Product Designer at VXT, you’ll work across our whole product suite. Your responsibilities include:

  • Talking to lawyers, and sitting in on customer calls (sales, implementation and support), to understand how firms actually work, then turning what you learn into design decisions.
  • Designing end to end across our desktop and mobile apps from early exploration and prototyping through to ready-to-build specs.
  • Testing designs with real users before engineering builds, and pairing with engineers (TypeScript, React, React Native) so what ships matches what you designed.
  • Maintaining and extending our design system so new features feel consistent across every platform we ship to.
  • Contributing to marketing and brand design when needed — website, event collateral, product videos. VXT is highly interdisciplinary.

Who we're looking for

  • 2+ years of product design experience.
  • This can be made a senior role for the right candidate.
  • Experience in the legal tech is advantageous.
